Paloma Valley High School is becoming known as a hotspot for anti-gay bullying. The latest report tells of a teacher who wrote an “S” on the hand of a straight student who supports LGBT rights and referred to her as a “Sinner” for the rest of class.

The ACLU has made several complaints to the school district, but as of yet they are refusing to make any changes to policies. They claim that the teacher (whose name has not been released) was ‘disciplined,’ but are refusing to say how. For all we know at this point, the teacher may have just been given a verbal warning.

The school has received multiple and continuous complaints about bullying and harassment of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender students but has yet to implement any new policies to deal with the problem. The ACLU is getting involved now, but as of yet haven’t been able to make any headway.
